SHIMIZUYA SUZUNOMICHI

SHIMIZUYA SUZUNOMICHI

The ultimate space only for one group per day. A 150-year-old Japanese-style house that stands amidst nature

This 150-year-old Japanese-style house that stands amidst nature has a sunken hearth on the porch, a wide dirt floor that elicits nostalgia, and an atmosphere in which even first-time visitors can let down their hair and relax. Only one group can stay each day and staying for multiple nights is also possible, so guests can leisurely spend their time here without feeling constrained. They can enjoy the sights of the four seasons, the crisp morning air, the new green leaves bursting with life, summer, soothed by the cool climate, and the sounds of insects that invite feelings of nostalgia at dusk.

Let's go find a new one

Check Point1

You might be able to meet a new version of yourself

Once in a while, how about putting away your mobile phone and timepieces, forget about your usual restless life,
sit on the porch, and listen carefully?

We value the seasonal foods of the each season and focus on harvests of the undeveloped woodland such as freshly-harvested edible wild plants, as well as local ingredients such as delicious rice produced in Nichinan while lovingly making food that is gentle on both the soul and the body. We also serve soba made only with soba flour grinded with a millstone to those who wish to eat it, and it is very well-received.

Check Point2
